Summary: A little girl call Sarah has sleepover party with her seven friends. Her Aunt Kate comes to baby-sit for her pajama party. Every time Aunt Kate leaves the room Sarah and her friends loves sneaking up and down her bunk beds. They are four on the top, and four in the bottom, or three on the top, and five in the bottom, or two in the top and six in bottom. She wondered how many ways Sarah and her friends can trick her.
Classroom ideas:
The idea is that students can show different ways to make number eight or any other number.
The students might use manipulatives or paper, crayons or markers to draw and show different ways to arrange Sarah and her friends in the bunk bed.
